Hyundai has announced the price for the second generation i20. In the UK, the subcompact model will have a starting price tag of 10.695 GBP. According to the South-Korean car manufacturer, the model will reach showrooms in January 2015. 
 
Six Trim Levels
 
The second generation Hyundai i20 features a sophisticated new design, generous levels of equipment and will be available in six trim levels. The entry-level version will come with electric front windows, remote central locking and radio with USB. The upper version S Air starts at 11.445 GBP and adds manual air conditioning. Next on the list is the S Blue. It adds start-stop system, low resistance tires and 1.000 GBP to the base price.

The fourth trim level is named SE and has a price of 12.715 GBP. It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, voice activated Bluetooth system, cruise control with speed limited and fog lights. In addition, Hyundai has installed the Lane Departure Warning System and some parking sensors. 

If you go for the range-topping versions Hyundai i20 will come in Premium (13.725 GBP) and Premium SE (14.725 GBP). It adds automatic dimming rearview mirror, automatic headlights and wipers, automatic climate control, cornering lights, LED DRLs, projection headlamps, heated front seats and steering wheel and opening panoramic glass sunroof.
 
Four Engines

Under the hood, the new Hyundai i20 will be offered with four different engines. We are talking about a 1.25 liter unit in 75 and 84 HP and about a 1.4 liter petrol engine rated at 100 horsepower. Last, but not least is the 1.4 liter diesel unit with 90 horsepower.
