Honda introduces the 2015 CR-V facelift on the US market. The compact crossover was redesigned and now features a new front grille, with chrome inserts, redesigned headlamps, fog lights, skid-plate and bumper to lift the front aesthetics.

The rear end has some new taillights with LED technology while a refreshed tailgate design and bumper complete the enhancements.

The prices start at $23,320 USD for the LX trim level, with only the front-wheel drive. There are also EX, EX-L, EX-L Navi and Touring versions, all available only with front-wheel drive or optionally with 4x4 system.

The 2015 CR-V has increased EPA fuel economy ratings of 27/34/29 mpg (city/highway/combined) for front-wheel-drive models and 26/33/28 mpg for Real Time AWD models.

The standard equipment level is improved with a medium trim level EX including 7-inch Display Audio, a 10-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, Honda LaneWatch, Smart Entry/Push-Button Start and LED daytime running lights.

The safety list now includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), the first CR-V adoption of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Honda LaneWatch. Top of the range CR-V Touring will be introduced at a starting price of $32,770 USD.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) sets a space interval between the driver's vehicle and the vehicle ahead. When the vehicle ahead changes speed, ACC senses the change and decreases or increases the vehicle’s speed to maintain a set following speed or distance.

The Honda LaneWatch system helps the driver check their right blind spot when they make lane changes to the right. The right turn signal activates a camera in the passenger's side door mirror.  This allows the driver to see one to two lanes to the right and 50 yards (45 meters) behind the vehicle.
