Ferrari has officially unveiled the 2015 488 Spider. The new Italian supercar will be internationally revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the event which will kick off on September 17. 

According to Ferrari, the 2015 488 Spider is the most powerful ever mid-rear-engined V8 car of the brand that has a retractable hard top. The new 2015 Ferrari 488 Spider has a blown spoiler and an aerodynamic incorporating vortex generations and an electric glass rear wind stop that can be adjusted in three different position. 

The space frame chassis is made of 11 different aluminum alloys and it provides the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness as the 488 GTB. According to Ferrari, the 488 Spider roof can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds.

Under the hood of the 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB is a V8 3.9 liter turbo engine that can deliver 670 horsepower and 760 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the car can run from not to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds, while the 0 to 200 km/h mark is done in 8.7 seconds.
