The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has published a series of pictures with the interior of the upcoming 2014 C-Class. According to the Stuttgart-based producer, the 2014 C-Class will be officially unveiled in January at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show. 

As you can see, the future C-Class interior follows the recent philosophy of Mercedes-Benz models and is features a refined and luxury layout. In standard, the 2014 C-Class will come with a 7 inch central display which can be replaced with an optional 8.4 inch color monitor along with a head-up display and a touch controlled pad. 

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will have a special AC system which uses GPS data to detect tunnels and automatically starts the air recirculation. More than that, the car has a front passenger sear featuring sensor which will disengage the front passenger airbag once it detects a child seat.

According to Mercedes-Benz press release, the new C-Class will have a best in class weight. Depending on selected engine, the model could be 100 kilograms lighter than its predecessor and it will come with a 20 percent fuel consumption reduction.

The new Airmatic suspension system will come with four modes: Comfort, ECO, Sport and Sport Plus. The system also comes with a self-leveling feature lowering the car’s ride height during high speeds for an improved aerodynamic.
