2013 Seat Toledo - Official Photos and Details

The leaked set of pictures with the 2013 Seat Toledo that made the Internet rounds last week has determined the Spanish automaker to make things official. That is why they published a few extra photos and preliminary details referring to the new generation Toledo, a model which will be initially launched in Spain and Portugal in mid November and the rest of Europe in 2013.

Just like the first two generations for which more than 860,000 units have been produced, the new Toledo continues to improve on the same formula, meaning a combination of generous space, a high degree of flexibility, 'outstanding efficiency' and good value for money.

The 2013 Seat Toledo measures 4,48 m in length, which means it is 4 cm longer than the Toledo II, and rides on a 2,602 mm long wheelbase (+ 82 mm if compared to the previous generation), something which will make the rear passengers slightly happier due to the improved legroom.

 

Motorisation options for the new Toledo will include two TSI spark-ignition petrol units with 1.2 and 1.4-litre displacements rated at 75 HP (55 kW) and 122 HP (90 kW) and a 1.6-litre common-rail TDI diesel producing 105 HP (77 kW).

The most powerful petrol variants will be available with an optional 7-speed dual-shift DSG gearbox while in terms of safety the list of standard equipment will include river and passenger airbags, front side airbags and head/thorax airbags. The base model will also come with central locking, a two piece folding rear backrest and power windows in the front.
