2013 Nissan Altima Price and Details

Intentional or not, the 2013 Nissan Altima was revealed online last night, prior to its public debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

Apartfrom a number of photos we have preliminary details referring to the Japanese automaker's new sedan and we also know how much it is going to cost.

The 2013 Nissan Altima represents a step forward in terms ofexterior design and interior upgrades, with some of the notable features represented by its new headlights which remind of the Maxima, the bigger grille, the redesigned taillights and the new bumpers.

Onthe inside the new Altima features a new steering wheel, various wood and aluminium accents,  NASA-inspired "zero-gravity" seats which help reduce fatigue over long periods behind the wheel, an Advanced Drive-Assist Display and a Premium Audio System from BOSE.

The engines range includes a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder plant producing 182 HP and180 lb-ft of torque and a 3.5-litre V6 capable of outputting 270 HP and 258 lf-ft of torque, with both units spinning the wheels via a redesignedXtronic CVT transmission.

The targeted fuel economy figures for the Alitma 2.5L are 23/38/31 mpg (city/highway/combined) while the 3.5L V6 variant is expected to achieve 22/30/25 mpg (city/highway/combined).  

The 2013 Nissan Altima will become available at dealerships across the US this summer, with prices starting at 21,500 USD and reaching 30,080 USD for the V6 version.
