Everybody is dreaming of supercars but designers can give birth to such magnificent things. But when the designers start to dream, we get some astonishing results.

Once upon a time, Mark Hostler, a transportation design student at Staffordshire University in England, has dreamed of a Mercedes-Benz supercar with a GT-R heart.

In a one fine day, he gets into the action and he designed the Mercedes-Benz SL GTR. It is a German supercar that hides a 5.6 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine from Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 race car.

"The Mercedes SL GTR represents the latest innovation in a long line of world beating Mercedes-Benz sports racing cars homologated for road use", said Mark Hostler. As a reminder, this young guy draws in March 2012 the Lamborghini Ferruccio, another astonishing design study.
