The British car maker McLaren has revealed the updated 2013 MP4-12C GT3. The new competition model comes with minor mechanical tweaks and with a new aerodynamic package.

According to the British officials the new 2013 MP4-12C GT3 has a new upgraded ECU, an improved electrical system, new dampers and a revised cooling system. Thanks to all these modifications, the British supercar is more efficient and reliable.

The MP4-12C is powered by the same twin-turbo 3.8 liter V8 engine connected to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The officials didn’t tell that the updated ECU has improved the engine power because this is depending on homologation rules. As a reminder, last year, the MP4-12C GT3 has 500 HP.

If last year the model was available only to Europe GT teams, this time, the British officials decided to offer the supercar to international GT teams, to collectors and to non-race users. The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is now available for order with pricing starts at 389.780 Euros.
