If you are among those who consider purchasing Mazda’s new 2013 CX5 or just doing a little research in the crossover segment then you should read on because the Japanese car maker has just released pricing and specification details for new model.
The 2013 Mazda CX5 is available in the US with a 2.0-litre petrol unit capable of producing 155 HP and 150 lb-ft of torque, figures which can be delivered to the vehicle’s front wheels or to all-four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic.
There are three equipment grades to choose from (Sport, Touring and Grand Sport) and in its most fuel efficient configuration the new CX5 is expected to return 29 mpg combined.
The 2013 Mazda CX5 price starts at 20,865 USD for the range opening Sport version, and some of the features offered as standard include 17 inch wheels, daytime running lights, electric powered mirrors and windows, steering wheel mounted audio controls and cruise control as well as air conditioning.
As we move up in the range we get to the CX5 Touring which starts at 23,895 USD and adds Bluetooth connectivity, fog lamps, an adjustable driver’s seat, rear view parking camera, a leather wrapped steering wheel and the BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring) system.
Finally the range topping Mazda CX5 Grand Sport carries a 27,045 USD price tag and it features 19 inch wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, heated mirrors, a panoramic roof, leather seats which are also heated at the front, dual zone climate control, a premium audio system from Bose and Sirius Satellite radio.
