2013 Lexus RX Facelift: Geneva 2012

You've already had the occasion of checking out the facelifted range Lexus RX in a series of leaked images that appeared online before the official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, but since the car has premiered in the Swiss capital, the Japanese automaker has released new photos and offered details regarding its motorisation.

On the outside the changes are limited to the adoption of the company's new spindle grille, plus the 2013 RX received headlights which incorporate LEDs, new fog lights and newly designed 18 inch wheels as well as the optional F Sport package which could further enhance the vehicle's look thanks to an unique front bumper, halogen headlamps, various chrome accents and 19 inch wheels.

On the inside the company has also applied a series of modest changes, while in terms of motorisation

Lexus said that the RX 350 will extract power from a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 270 HP while the RX 450h will be fitted with a system that comprises from a 3.5-litre Atkinson cycle V6 in connection with two electric motors and a 228 V Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery which will produce a total of 295 HP.

The 2013 Lexus RX 350 uses a 6-speed automatic gearbox which enables it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds and attain a top speed of 112 mph while the RX 450h can travel at a maximum 124 mph and requires 7.8 seconds to go from nought to 60 mph.
