2013 Kia K9 Sketches

Kia revealed three sketches with its upcoming flagship sedan, the K9 (codenamed KH).

The K9 "is expected to establish new standards for design flair in the large sedan segment" and will represent the automaker's first rear wheel drive vehicle.

The 2013 Kia K9 which will be launched on the automaker's home market in the first half of 2012 has been designed to look "distinctive, modern and classic" and the most important features are its bold-front incorporating the bigger grille and the newly designed headlamps, the single character line on the side and the high-tech rear combination lamp clusters.

Soon-Nam Lee, Kia's Director of the Overseas Marketing Group stated that, "Our all-new flagship sedan integrates all of our key capabilitiessuch as design, performance, high-tech features and

infotainment into one striking model.

"Although launch timings for overseas markets are yet to be confirmed, this all-new rear-wheel drive large sedan will definitely become the leading model of our line-up around the world, showcasing the best of the best of Kia."
