2013 Honda Crosstour Concept Presented in New York

Honda has presented a mildly updated Crosstour model at the 2012 New York Auto Show, which is basically a facelift applied to the 2009 model, but on which the automaker has applied the 'Concept' badge.

Despite criticism and low sales figures, Honda seems determined enough to try again with the Crosstour, thinking that a pair of more aggressive looking bumpers, a revised tailigate, contrasting door moldings and redesigned alloy wheels will do the trick.

Apart from that the 2013 Honda Crosstour Concept also comes with a revised interior, and we are talking about an 8-inch display on the dashboard, push-button ignition, steering wheel mounted shift paddles for the V6 version and new materials.

When it will go on sale (September 2013), the new Crosstour will be offered with a 2.4-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder plant generating 192 HP and 162 lb-ft of torque via a 5-speed automatic, or with a 3.5-litre i-VTEC V6 rated at 271 HP and paired with a 6-speed automatic. 

Some of the safety features available on the new Corsstour will include  Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward Collision Warning and LaneWatch which is a system monitoring the vehicle's blind spots.
