Some of the new exterior features on the Acadia include a chiseled, three-bar grille, newly designed bumpers, LED headlamps, revised taillights, a wrap-around rear glass, and new 18, 19 and 20 inch wheels with fresh patterns.
At the interior the 2013 GMC Acadia received upgraded soft-touch materials with French stitching as well as red ambient lighting across the dashboard.
On the range topping 2013 GMC Acadia Denali the exterior and interior changes also include a polished grille along with wood trim and leather seats, while the engine powering both versions is the same 3.6-litre V6 from the outgoing mode, rated at 288 HP (215 kW) and 270 lb-ft (266 Nm) of torque.
The engine provides a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds and is linked to a new Hydra-Matic 6T70 6-speed automatic transmission with better shift response and improved drivability.
The 2013 GMC Acadia and Acadia Denali will be built at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant in Lansing, Michigan, and will go on sale in late 2012.
