We've seen the German automaker tease the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle's shape on the Oprah Winfrey Show , but things get much more clearer thanks to this new spy video which shows the next generation model without any camouflage.

The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has been spied during road tests, and even though details are scarce, we already known the car will be offered with features like Bluetooth and a touch screen display at the interior, 19 inch alloys, dual exhaust pipes, sport seats and an upgraded suspension.

The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will also be offered as a cabriolet, and speculations regarding powerplant options mention the company's new TDI units and the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
