Ssangyong Motors will use this years Paris Motor Show edition to unveil its environmentally friendly electric car concept, the e-XIV. We are talking about a redesigned version of the XIV-2 concept, introduced in march, at the Geneva Motor Show.

The e-XIV, named like this after the words ”electric − eXciting user Interface Vehicle ”, promotes a new design language the correans have created.

It is an electric concept, and a B-segment CUV (crossover utility vehicle). It is necessary to remind you that under the hood we have an electric propulsion system, self-chargeable by utilising a small petrol engine, thereby overcoming the issues of limited driving distance and battery charging infrastructure.

4,160mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,575mm high, and with a 2,600mm wheelbase, the e-XIV concept uses a glass roof that provides enhanced visibility for passengers, ensuring the same time free solar energy to the battery, thanks to its solar cell panels, roof mounted.
