Renault presented the first official photo featuring their upcoming Twingo minicar. This facelift version 2012 Renault Twingo will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and as you can see, it employs the automaker’s latest trends in terms of design.
The new exterior follows Laurens van den Acker’s design principles and reminds of some of the concepts which have been presented by Renault recently.
Some of the new features on the 2012 Renault Twingo include the redesigned grille, the revamped headlights, the newly positioned projectors and the new rims. The car is also expected to host a more generous range of standard equipment, while under the bonnet the 2012 Renault Twingo will most likely be fitted with the same 133 HP petrol unit.
There’s no word of hybrid or electric powertrains being offered on the 2012 Renault Twingo, but we’ll be  back with the official info once the automaker’s smallest model will premiere in Frankfurt.
