With only a few months left until its global premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche has started teasing the 2012 911 through a video that was published on their official YouTube channel.
The footage was shot in South Africa where the 2012 Porsche 911 is currently undergoing its final validation tests and even though we don’t get to see much in terms of design, there are a few interesting details that will catch your attention. Some of them include the air cooled engine bay area, the targa roof on one of the cars, and the new rim design.
We get to see a few scenes with the interior and also hear the exhaust note of the new 3.4-litre 350 HP engine that will power the Carrera and the Boxter S. Of course the footage might very well contain the noise made by the Carrera S which according to previous reports will develop 400 HP.
