The 2012 Mercedes ML price was announced today, as customers are now able to place their orders for this latest generation SUV. The first deliveries will take place in fall 2011, and at launch the car will be available with two diesels badged as the ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC and ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC.

Daimler says these versions are already compliant with the Euro 6 emissions standards which will go into effect in 2014, and that should come as no surprise, considering the new model consumes around 25 percent less fuel than the previous generation.

The 2012 Mercedes ML price starts at 54,978 Euro for the ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC (19 percent sales tax included) and reaches 58,726 Euro for the ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC. There is also the ML 350 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY version which starts at 56,763 Euro.

Apart from these versions, Mercedes said it will also offer a limited series version based on the ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC, called the ‘Edition 1’ which will feature an AMG exterior package among other things, and for which pricing will start at 55,700 Euro.

Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Executive
Vice President Sales & Marketing at Mercedes Benz Cars said "More than 1.2
million units have been sold since the vehicle was launched 14 years
ago. That makes it not only the best-selling SUV in its segment, it also
has the most loyal customers. The new M-Class will continue this
success story and substantially boost our sales in the coming years."
