As you may know the new Civic hatch is being offered with three engine choices, out of which two are petrols (1.4 and 1.8-litre i-VTECs) and one is a 2.2-litre diesel, and even though it may sound strange, EVO recommends the diesel because in this case it is the most powerful of all due to its 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and makes the car's chassis come alive

Apart from producing around 128 lb-ft of torque than the 1.8-litre petrol, the other good part about the diesel version is the fact that it only emits 108 grammes of CO2 per Km, so if you have around 20,095 GBP sitting around, and you
