The new Ford Focus ST will go on sale in the UK starting from June 1st 2012, in both hatchback and estate body styles.
Both versions come with a direct-injection 2.0-litre
turbocharged, 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine rated at 250 PS which will spin the front wheel via a 6-speed manual transmission.
The 2012 Ford Focus ST price will start at 21,995 GBP for the hatch and at 23,095 GBP for the estate, and the automaker claims that by comparison with its predecessor, this new generation model is capable of returning efficiency figures of 39.2 mpg and CO2 levels of 169 g/Km, which means a 20 percent improvement.  
The new Focus ST will be offered in the UK in three trim grades badged ST1, ST2 and ST3. On the standard version customers will find features like Ford Power keyless start, Recaro
seats, DAB radio, Bluetooth and 18 inch alloy wheels while the range topping model will also include heated, leather seats, Bi-Xenon
headlights, LED daytime running lights and keyless entry.
There are also three option packs which are only available for the ST2 and ST3 grades. These are the Driver Asstaince Pack, the City Pack and the ST Style pack.
