GM has put a price tag on the 2012 Buick Verano, their new luxury sedan which is scheduled to go on sale later this year.
Described as better in terms of passenger and cargo space than the Acura TSX sedan or the Lexus IS 250, the 2012 Buick Verano represents the brand’s first compact model, with power provided by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine capable of producing 180 HP at 6,700 rpm and 171 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 rpm.
The above mentioned engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and in terms of standard equipment the Verano comes with 10 airbags, leatherette seatings, a 7-inch colour-touch radio display with IntelliLink technology, automatic climate control, remote start, electric windows and steering wheel mounted radio controls.
Also the automaker says that eatch trim level could be specified with a 9-speaker sound system from Bose, while the OnStar in-car safety and connectivity system is standard for 6 months on all Verano models.
The 2012 Buick Verano price starts at 23,470 USD, figure which includes the 885 USD destination charge.
