The 2009 Lancia Delta 1.8 Di TurboJet was revealed today by the Italian automaker along with details describing the main features and innovations on the new model. As the company mentioned the main innovation on the 2009 Lancia Delta 1.8 Di TurboJet is the 1.8-litre engine that produces 200 HP (147 kW) at 5,000 rpm and a maximum 320 Nm (32.6 Kgm) of torque at 1,400 rpm, developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT). With this powerplant under its bonnet the 2009 Lanci Delta 1.8 Di TurboJet is able to sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in just 7.4 seconds while fuel consumption indicates that 7.8 liters of fuel are needed to cover 100 Km. CO2 emission figures are 185 g/Km making the 2009 Lancia Delta 1.8 Di TurboJet in compliance with the Euro 5 standards.
Another new features on the new Delta is the electronic suspension with a variable damping system (Reactive Suspension System), that help reduce car vibrations and ensure high levels of safety while maximizing comfort. At the interior the 2009 Lancia Delta 1.8 Di TurboJet is also concentrating on comfort as everything is designed to meet business class standards.
