Goodwood seems to be also a good opportunity for those looking to buy rare classic cars. No wonder that someone paid 13.4 million Euros, the equivalent of 18.3 million dollars, to become the owner of a 1954 Ferrari 375-Plus.

The car was sold by Bonhams auctions during this weekend at Goodwood. Two influent people wanted to own the car, but the hammer knocked only when one of them reached 10.7 million pounds.

For this amount of money, the client will receive the most potent version of the regular 375, powered by a mighty V12 with a capacity of 4.9 liters. The standard version of the car was using a 4.5 liter unit.

The Ferrari 375-Plus was capable of delivering 330 bhp and featured a Formula One transaxle. The design, also an important part for the bidder, was created by Pininfarina and dressed in the classic red color.

The car has also an illustrious past, as it was driven by Umberto Maglioli in the Mille Miglia and by Froilan Gonzalez at Silverstone. The car also took part at Le Mans 24h race.
