Car Show: 2012 SEMA Show

The 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show took place October 2nd through November 2nd, 2012.  The show has 2,250 exhibitors in attendance.  It was the largest SEMA show to date.  Unfortunately, the show wasn’t open to the public.  Therefore, we provided a few pictures of customized cars in our gallery.

At Hyundai, we found the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Velocity Concept.  The sports hatch has a 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that outputs 400 hp and 350 lb/ft torque.  Also the 2013 Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX Special Edition the new production Veloster.

Ford had 5 different custom Ford Focus ST by Steeda Auto Sports, Focus ST by Bojix Design, Focus ST by Galpin Auto Sports, Focus ST by Tanner Foust Racing, and Focus ST by M&J Enterprises.  Three different Mustang GT by Ringbrothers, DSO Eyeware, and Mothers.  And the Mustang Convertible by Stitchcraft and Mustang Boy Racer by 3dCarbon.

Scion had 3 tuners on display for the 2012 Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge.  Scion provided tuners with a Scion FR-S, $15,000 USD, and 3 months to complete the build.

Fiat showed 3 custom Fiat 500.  The Beach Cruiser Concept designed after rat rod design on the US West Coast, Cafe Racer designed in 1960 British style, and Abarth by Magneti Marelli race car.

Dodge had 3 custom Dodge Darts – Dart by Mopar, Dart Carbon Fire, and Dart Slingshot.  Dodge also revealed the 650 hp Dodge Charger Juiced with V10 SRT Viper engine.
